Myong Hwa Choi,
President & Chief Executive Officer
MyongHwa Choi is President & Chief Executive Officer at SkyView Advisors, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SK USA. He has over 18 years of experience with SK Global America, a Fortune International 100 company and major marketing company in South Korea. Mr. Choi has held various senior management positions at SK Global America as head of Accounting, Information System, Administration, New Business Development, and Human Resources Management areas. He was directly responsible for managing
New Business Development for the SK Networks (formerly SK Global). As CEO of SkyView Advisors, Mr. Choi is overseeing various investment projects in the US and Asia. He is directly responsible for spearheading MGM’s major expansion initiative in Korea. He also works closely with many entertainment and media companies on various global business initiatives. Mr. Choi received a BS in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He resides in New Jersey with his family.
Carlos Pyun, Senior Vice President & Korea Representative
Carlos J. Pyun has been with SK for 15 years where he has been in charge of cross-border new business development and SkyView Advisors’ Korean business operations. Mr. Pyun manages SkyView Advisors’ partnership with MGM Studio and Sesame Workshop in Korea, as well as other strategic partnerships with entertainment-related businesses. Mr. Pyun also searches and reviews new media and entertainment businesses in Korea that are well suited for the United States. He received his BA from Boston University and Masters in International Relations from Denver University. He is based in Seoul, Korea.
Andrew J Oh, Vice President, Business Development
Andrew Oh is Vice President, Business Development at SkyView
Advisors, Inc. In this position, he directs an
effort in business development among domestic and international
companies, as well as promoting businesses in the US and Korea. He is
also responsible for a variety of licensing services such as developing and managing strategic licensing programs
including brand representation, program management and
optimization. He has extensive experience in successfully managing complex projects and organizational initiatives. Prior to SkyView Advisors, for nearly 17 years he
was involved in high-level investment analytic; portfolio risk analysis, portfolio optimization, and return attributions for the Dreyfus Corporation, a BNY Mellon Company. Andrew holds an M.B.A. in Banking and Finance from Dowling College and a B.S. in Accounting from New York State University.
He is based in New Jersey, USA.
Kwang Sup (KS) Kim, General Manager, Business Development
An industry expert and a strategist, K.S. Kim is responsible for
running cross-border new business development in Korea and SkyView Advisors’ Korean business operations. MR. Kim has been responsible for new business development between Korea and Japan, as well as SK’s entertainment-related content businesses, online shopping, advanced mobile solution at SK Networks (formerly SK Global). Before SK Global, he was responsible for new business development at Samsung Group Companies and launching strategy for the Korean market at Honda Motor. He graduated from Yonsei University with a BS degree and received his MBA from Waseda University. He is based in Seoul, Korea.
Michelle Hwang,
Licensing Manager
Michelle is in charge of licensing business development in Korea.
She is responsible for the marketing planning, developing new
licensing business and sales operations. She has experiences
in overseas sales in Kolon Chemical corp., and product development &
overseas outsourcing for Korean cosmetic companies. She
graduated with BS degree in English literature and German literature
from Ewha Womans University. She is based in Seoul, Korea.
Hyo Jeong (Haley)
Kim,
Licensing Assistant Manager
Haley is in charge of new overseas licensing business development
in Korea. Her responsibility includes conducting market
research, developing new licensing projects, business planning, and
sales operations. She has extensive experiences in successfully
managing various projects of marketing & sale managing.
She graduated with BS degree in English Linguistics from Hankuk
University of Foreign Studies. She is based in Seoul, Korea.
Siena Song,
Designer, Product Development
Siena is in charge of licensees' various design submissions and
approvals for all licensed properties. She was successfully
involved in design related projects while studying at HAWK in
Germany and was responsible for new Caoutchouc Designs for shops in Freudenberg in Germany.
She graduated from Sang Myung University with BS degree and received
diploma in Color Design from HAWK (University of Applied Sciences
and Arts), in Hildesheim in Germany. She is based in Seoul,
Korea.
Craig Sheldon, General
Counsel
Craig Sheldon, General Counsel of SkyView
Advisors, has represented SK Group companies in the United States
since 1998.
He is responsible for the legal issues arising out of those
operations, including negotiating and drafting merger, acquisition
and divestiture agreements, complex financing transaction documents,
commercial contracts and intellectual property licenses, as well as
management of labor and employment issues and supervision of
commercial litigation.
Before joining SK, he specialized in representing Asian companies
doing business in the United States.
Craig received a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a
Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of
the Law and attended Cornell’s
graduate study program in Japanese. He is based in New Jersey,
USA.
Esther S. Utting, Associate Director of Public Relations
Esther S. Utting oversees all aspects of public relations for SkyView Advisors. Possessing extensive experience in website operation and management, she also functions as Site Manager for SK.com, SK Group’s English portal website. During her eight-year tenure with SK USA, she has worked for two of its start-up companies: as Senior Marketing Manager for SkyZone Entertainment, a publisher of mobile games, and as Content Manager for TeleMerc.com, a B2B company catering to the telecom industry. Prior to joining SK USA, Ms. Utting served as Public Relations & Research Specialist for Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry In USA, Inc. (KOCHAM). At KOCHAM, she was responsible for publishing the chamber’s various publications, including newsletter, brochures, and annual reports, as well as writing speeches for chairman. Prior to KOCHAM, she performed similar duties as Communications Specialist at Daewoo International (America) Corp.
Ms. Utting received her BA in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University and MA in Journalism from New York University.
She is based in New Jersey, USA.
Joon Hwang, CFO
As Controller, Joon is responsible for a range of financial management and reporting activities of SkyView Advisors and its affiliated companies, as well as treasury function and development of accounting procedures and policies. Prior to joining SK, Mr. Hwang has worked with KPMG as an auditor for five years during which time he has focused on financial assurance, including Sarbanes-Oxley and various attestation engagements. Joon received his BA in Economics from Yonsei University and MBA in Finance and Accounting from University of Illinois.

John Koo, Senior Managing Director, SK USA
John Koo is Senior Managing Director of SK USA, Inc. with overall responsibility for formulating and executing the strategic direction and results for SK USA and its portfolio companies. Mr. Koo has been instrumental in advancing SK Group ‘s mission of being a global enterprise in front of leading technology, media and wireless trends with an active and strategic presence in the Americas. Under Mr. Koo’s direction, SK USA has developed a strong operating philosophy and has created a business platform and customer-facing brand presence for SK in the United States under the brand “SkyZone Mobile.” The company is quickly emerging as a leading player in mobile entertainment with its core business model committed to developing and publishing fun and compelling applications and multimedia content to wireless subscribers and interactive consumers.
In addition to his roles at SK USA, Mr. Koo has 20 years experience with SK Group in various executive, management and investment-related roles. He has played key roles in several significant transactions, including SK's CDMA licensing agreement with Qualcomm, spectrum acquisition and divestiture in Brazil, and numerous other investment and financial transactions. During his tenure, he has deftly steered SK in the restructuring and divestment of various non-core operations and helped secure entry into a number of promising, high growth industry segments that promise to maximize value and competitiveness for SK in the years ahead.
Mr. Koo currently serves on the Board of Directors of several SK portfolio companies in the United States. Mr. Koo earned a BS in Economics from the University of Chicago, an MBA from Columbia University, and a JD from the UCLA School of Law.
